Proof Reading - "A Must"

Hehe now I really know the Importance of proof Reading ... I have been working on the Handouts for many days taking help from my previous creative ideas and content ... the funny thing is I din't edit the content too much , just picked it up from one place and pasted it to another as the work done last time was splendid ....so I din't feel the need to change it too much except the theme (which I din't :P)

The front page was a mix of colours and the logo , I just used rectangles of colour and somes curves and blah blah ... so finally the front page was done.

The middle pages .. I had already prepared the Backdrop and just needed to pick some content from here and there and paste it :P and I did precisely that without any editing... now the thing is I used to work till very late in the night so I read everything with half of my eyes closed , only things I recognised were shapes and curves :P .

I din't change the Theme and year in the letter addressed to the sponsor :P which was indeed a big mistake . We wouldn't have realised it until I insisted that we proof read before putting it for printing and thats when we realised the mistake .

So finally I think its very important to do proof reading :P

Middle Page Background - handouts

So its been time I have been working on this image ... it took a lotta time ... have a look:
This image took a lotta time to make ... and also Now I have realised that the content that has to go (attractive) needs somewhat white background so Even though the image looks great I have to work on it ... btw .. the whole image is created using three different images ... the clouds are made from Photoshop cloud brushes and those hands holding earth is actually .. hand without the earth .. and earth is the third image used .. 

So overall fading went well now I have to put content around it in a well mannered fashion :)

Logo Design

I have made some rough drafts for the Logo ... of Tech Zephyr 2009 ... which is actually renamed Tech Zephyr 2k9 only because we have had a event in 2009 already so just to be able to distinguish between the two events we have made it 2k9...

Here are the rough drafts of the logo:

They dont seem different but when kept side by side or viewed in image viewer of windows the difference is known:

As can be seen from above in one I have made a smaller "T" and also a smaller "Z" and I have made extensive use of danube font and copperplate gothic bold for the "Z".

I have made the 2K9 look broken to bring out a different feeling . The planet earth is to smybolise the efforts towards saving it from global warming ...(recent victim being India itself coz of El Nino).My previous attempt at making the logo:

So lets Just see if the logo gets approved or I have to go on working on it for some more days.
